RISING LEADERS SUMMITS
The GLI Liberty Network is identifying and then educating, mentoring, and networking young, courageous Rising Leaders in early private and public sector careers who are passionate about restoring liberty and the free exchange of ideas.
Through mentorship, summits, and connections with renowned senior leaders, we accelerate their path to influential roles in business, media, government, academia, and more. Our program offers unparalleled opportunities to engage with preeminent figures, build transformative networks, and amplify influential, young voices for liberty. Through our programs, we will execute one of our critical missions – filling private sector and public institutions with courageous, connected leaders who advocate for individual and economic freedom.
We are building a powerful network that creates a renewing source of leaders committed to freedom and against government overreach, talented young men and women who can be confident of sustainable success through their network of associations with mentors and colleagues in various industries. Since 2022, over 200 Rising Leaders have joined our Network, advancing liberty worldwide and ensuring the future of freedom and opportunity essential to all ethical, free societies.
Participants are selected by the GLI Liberty Network in recognition of their talent and leadership skills, distinguished achievements, evidence of courage and independent thinking, and commitment to economic, individual, social, and political liberty, including the safeguarding of the public’s access to objective information free from political or other censorship.
Rising Leaders Summits of The GLI Liberty Network are held several times per year in the United States, in Switzerland, and in selected regional chapters.

The Purpose of the Rising Leaders Program
The GLI Liberty Network is dedicated to identifying and nurturing young, dynamic Rising Leaders in both private and public sectors who are committed to upholding liberty and the free exchange of ideas. Through this initiative, we aim to achieve one of our core objectives – populating private sector and public institutions with leaders who champion individual and economic freedom and advocate for limited government intervention.
For decades, many organizations have strategically positioned their young proponents into influential positions across government, the media, and other private sector institutions. These placements have often led to the promotion of policies that restrict liberty, standing in contrast to individual freedom and free-market values.
At GLI, we are building a robust, replenishing network of freedom-focused leaders who can be confident of their own sustainable success. Our Rising Leaders are fortified by their associations with mentors and peers across a diverse array of industries. They stand as a forceful counterbalance to heavy-handed regulatory and globalist agendas pushed by other international organizations that hamper competitiveness and diminish the autonomy of sovereign nations and the rights of their citizens. GLI’s Rising Leader program will ensure a future where freedom and opportunity remain cornerstones of every free society.
The process of participating in the Rising Leaders Summit is initiated by either nomination or self-application.
